Marion Driver Cited for OVI Following Crash

A driver was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a crash in Marion Sunday.

 

According to the report from the Marion Police Department, 25 year old Wesley Grounds, of Marion, was driving south in the 200 block block of Horner Street when he lost control of the car and travelled to the right side of the road.

 

His car struck a parked vehicle resulting in disabling damage to both.

 

Grounds was not injured, and in addition to the OVI, he was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control.
