A man from Marion was arrested and is facing several charges following an incident in Logan County over the weekend.

The Marion Ohio News Network reported that 35 year old James E. Souders was arrested by deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office after they were dispatched to a residence in Ridgeway to investigate a man who appeared to be under the influence of methamphetamine.

An investigation revealed that Souders had been arrested earlier in the day on a charge of possession of drugs. He was released from jail and returned to the same residence where he was causing issues with the property owners.

Souders was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct and was transported to jail where officers found a package with a single strip of suboxone which he did not have a prescription for, and he was also charged with illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility.
