Marion Man Facing Charges After Accident in Marion County

A man from Marion is facing charges after a crash in Marion County’s Big Island Township Monday evening.

According to the Ohio State Patrol report, 49 year old Chad Gregory lost control of his car while driving east on State Route 309.

The vehicle went off the right side of the road where it struck a snow bank, a utility pole and came to rest after striking a second snow bank

Disabling damage occurred to the car, and Gregory was treated for minor injuries.

He has been cited for failing to maintain reasonable control.

Additional charges are pending as he was suspected of driving under the influence of marijuana.
