Marion Woman Seriously Injured in Thursday Morning Crash

A serious injury crash occurred on County Road 165 in Union County late Thursday morning.

According to the report from the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Patrol, 45 year old Kristi Marshall, of Marion, drove from a private drive onto 165 , and her car was struck by an eastbound semi being operated by 46 year old Kirt Penhorwood, of Bellefontaine.

Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.

Marshall was flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

Penhorwood was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
