Arree Chung is a Chinese-American author and illustrator of many books for children, including Mixed, A Colorful Story, Ninja, Ninja!, Attack of The Clan, Out!, and The Fix-It Man. A graduate of Art Center College of Design, he lives in Union City, California.
Bryan Collier is a beloved illustrator known for his unique style combining watercolor and detailed collage. He is a four-time Caldecott Honor recipient for Trombone Shorty, Dave the Potter, Martin’s Big Words, and Rosa. His books have won many other awards as well, including six Coretta Scott King Illustrator Awards. He lives in New York with his family.
E.B. Goodale is the award-winning author and illustrator of many books for children, including Under the Lilacs, Here and Now, A Kiss for Akaraka, A Most Unusual Day, and Windows. A graduate in illustration from MassArt, she lives in Salem, Massachusetts.
Stephen T. Johnson’s visually arresting and conceptually rich body of work forges connections between words, objects and ideas. His art spans a broad range of concepts and contexts and can be seen in site-specific public art commissions, gallery and museum exhibitions, and original award-winning children’s books such “Alphabet City,” a Caldecott Honor and a New York Times Best Illustrated book of the year. Stephen is a professor at the University of Kansas and he lives in Lawrence, Kansas.
Laurie Keller is the author and illustrator of many books for children, including Potato Pants, We Are Growing!, Do Unto Others: a Book About Manners, Arnie the Doughnut, and Birdy’s Smile Book. A graduate of the Kendell College of Art and Design of Ferris State University. Laurie lives in North Muskegon, Michigan.
