Minutes from Kenton Lions Club Meeting Released

The Kenton Lions club held a regular meeting and hosted a Zone meeting on Wednesday October 5, 2022, at the Kenton Elks.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Lion President Bill Keller with 19 members. 9 visiting Zone Lions and 1 guest present.

President Lion Bill Keller led with the pledge and prayer.

The meeting was adjourned and reconvened at 7:04 pm following a meal.

Guest speaker Max Trachsel was introduced by President Lion Bill Keller. Mr. Trachsel provided a presentation on the upcoming election and the Council On Aging Senior Tax Levy Renewal.

Information about services provided at the Council of Aging was provided.

The Zone meeting followed with information provided by District Governor Dave Stockum, 2nd Vice District Governor Sue Davis, LCIF Coordinator Barbara Plaughter.

Club reports were provided by representatives from Ada, Bluffton, Kenton, Riverdale Community, and Upper Scioto Valley.

The regular meeting of the Kenton Lion followed the Zone meeting.

The Pancake Breakfast will be postponed to a later date.

Lions will be doing Road Cleanup on Sunday October 16th .

50/50 drawing was won by Lion Joe Burgbacker and a special drawing won by Lion Brad Bailey.
