The public is invited to attend the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. statue dedication and speech commemoration on the campus of Ohio Northern University.

The dedication will take place on campus between Taft Memorial and the Pettit College of Law on Tuesday, April 17 at 10:30 a.m.

Created to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of King’s ONU speech, the statue will serve to remind everyone of his message of peace and equality.

Guests are advised to park in the lots to the north of Heterick Memorial Library or southwest of McIntosh Center. In case of inclement weather, the dedication will take place inside ONU’s English Chapel.
