Motorcyclists Reminded About Need for Protective Clothing

Motorcyclists are being reminded about the importance of proper clothing while riding.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, on the 74th day of the 100 Days of Summer Safety Campaign, said motorcyclists should wear clothing that completely covers their arms and legs, ideally with leather or heavy denim. Thick clothing provides protection in the event of a collision and prevents dehydration.

They should also wear a Department of Transportation approved helmet as well.
