AAA Ohio is working to raise awareness of the Move Over law.

The law requires drivers to move over a lane or slow down when approaching any roadside vehicle with flashing lights, a crucial step in keeping all roadside workers safe.

Last year in Ohio, snow plows were struck more than 200 times, road construction equipment was hit more than 600 times, 341 tow trucks were hit and law enforcement officers were hit more than 1000 times.

AAA teamed with the Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio State Highway Patrol & Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission in the campaign to raise awareness.
