MPD Receives for K9 Program
The Marion Police Department received a grant of $2000 from the Ron and Laura Scharer Fund administered by the Marion Community Foundation.
The money is for the department’s K9 program.
The money is especially needed at this time because the department will be purchasing a new K9 in 2022 to replace a retiring K9.
Marion police officers expressed their gratitude for the needed gift.
