Mt. Victory VFW Post Plans to Place Flags at Veteran Graves as Part of Memorial Day Activities

The William Britton VFW Post 6817 in Mt. Victory is waiting for information about what will be allowed for Memorial Day activities next month.

At the recent April meeting, members decided though that regardless of the situation, veterans buried in the nine cemeteries that the Post takes care of every year will have a new flag on their grave.

Post members present at the meeting stated that regardless of what is going on, every veteran deserves a new flag each year.

There have been 4-H, Cub and Boy Scout groups interested in helping with the project, and that will be handled when further information is released by the Department of Ohio and the National Office for the VFW.
