Autistic adults in the Lima area now have a new, free space to connect, share experiences, and support one another.
Sponsored by Autism Life Center and Bittersweet at Betty’s Farm, this Autistic Adult Support Group aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for those 18 and older.
Participants can meet other autistic adults in the area with similar lived experiences, share personal stories, challenges, and hopes in a supportive atmosphere and support one another by exchanging resources and encouragement.
The group is designed with various levels of support in mind, and no RSVP is required.
While staffing and supervision are not provided, parents, guardians, and support staff are welcome to attend as needed.
The first meeting is set for Thursday, March 6th from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
All gatherings will take place at Bittersweet at Betty’s Farm, located at 4640 Fort Amanda Rd in Lima.
