Research has led to a number of breakthroughs when it comes to Alzheimer’s Disease.

Julia Faulkner Pechlivanos, Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Association of Northwest Ohio told WKTN that includes an easy diagnosis for the disease, “There is a blood biomarker test for alzheimer’s disease that’s been developed, and we’re really hoping that in the next two years or so, we will be able to definitively diagnose alzheimer’s disease  with a simple blood test, and that’s really exciting news.”

Pechlivanos noted that your donations to the Alzheimer’s Association made it possible to conduct the research.
