ADA — A couple of new features have been added to the Made in Ada Football Festival on August 24.
The “Wilson Experience,” which demonstrates the process of how footballs are made and an exhibit by the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame will join an array of other activities as football season nears.
The Wilson Football Factory garage sale will kick off that day from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Following the “Wilson Experience,” the Ada Marching Band will perform at 9:30 a.m. followed by a scrimmage between Ada High School and Perry High School.
At 12 p.m. the Ohio Northern Marching Band will take centerstage before making way for the ONU football team, which will scrimmage Trine University at 12 p.m.
Starting at 4 p.m. the Made in Ada Football Festival will run until 10 p.m.
Activities planned for this time include the sale of raffle tickets for commemorative footballs and a smoker, the “Wilson Experience” exhibit, a Pro Football Hall of Fame exhibit, a tailgate, a presentation on football design by Wilson engineers and a performance by the Nashville Crush.
The night will conclude with the Wilson football drop.
