The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states that you should make sure your child is in the right car seat.
You should also make sure that it is installed correctly.
Every 32 seconds, one child under the age of 13 in a passenger vehicle is involved in a crash throughout the United States.
Many times, injuries and deaths can be prevented with the proper use of car seats, boosters, and seat belts.
Tips and video guides can be found at NHTSA.gov/TheRightSeat
That reminder was issued in advance of National Seat Check Saturday on September 25.
