No Shave November has started early for several Officers from the Wapakoneta Police Department who are participating in the charity event.

Officers pay $20 to grow facial hair during October and November.

This will be the 5th year the department has raised money for cancer awareness during the campaign.

To date, the department has raised $4600.

The money has been donated in the past for purchasing mammography equipment and also to help pay medical bills for a family member who was battling cancer.
