North Baltimore Man Arrested in Findlay

A North Baltimore man was arrested Monday after an incident in Findlay.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched at 4:17 Monday afternoon to S & s Landscaping to investigate a possible armed and suicidal subject at the business.

Officers arrived and encountered the subject, later identified as 34 year old Damien Talbot.  

He refused to exit the business and barricaded himself inside.  

The Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team and the Hancock County Emergency Response Team responded to the scene and began negotiations.  

At approximately 9:15 Monday night, gas was deployed into the business, at which time Talbot surrendered.  

No injuries were reported.     

Talbot was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant out of Wood County and was turned over to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.  

He may face additional charges, pending the outcome of the investigation.
