A private family graveside service for Barbara A.Glock will be held at the Grove Cemetery with Pastor Gregg King officiating. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Barbara passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Vandalia, Ohio. She was born on March 2, 1932 in Marion, Ohio to the late Jesse and Essie (Von Der Au) Baker. She married L. Edwin Glock on December 29, 1952 and he preceded her in death on May 31, 1998.
Surviving are a son; David Glock, daughters; Diane (Rex) Essinger, Sue (Brad) Kirkpatrick, grandchildren; Matthew (Lorenda) Donaugh, Bryan (Ashley) Donaugh, Lindsay (Jon) Noggle, Megan (Jesse) Plascak, Ben (Lizzy) Essinger, Madison Essinger, Hannah Kirkpatrick, Nathan Kirkpatrick, Samuel Kirkpatrick, 10 great-grandchildren; Adelynn, Maddox, Peyton, Paisley Titus, Malachi, Jake, Leah, Natalee and Jordan and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; Chery Jane Donaugh, a son-in-law; Jerel Donaugh, a sister; Jeanne Stelts, and 2 brothers; Robert Baker and Wilton “Bud” Baker.
Barbara was a graduate of Pleasant High School in Marion.
Barb and her husband Ed moved to Kenton and owned and operated E&B Drive-In for a number of years. She was an expert seamstress and did alterations for many brides and families. Barb also worked in sales for many various businesses in the kenton area.
She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and being with her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barbara’s honor may be made to Ohio Valley Hospice, 322 W. Main Street, Suite B, Troy OH, 45373.
