Funeral services for Caleb Allen DeLong will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Gregg King officiating. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the funeral home. Masks will be required and Covid-19 protocols should be followed at all services.

Caleb died unexpectedly at his residence in Dola, on Saturday, April 17, 2021. He was born on February 12, 1994 in Kenton to Craig and Wendy (Urick) DeLong, and they survive in Dunkirk. On July 4, 2020 he married Ashlyn Flowers and she survives.

Also surviving are an infant daughter; Brailey DeLong of home, a sister; Sarah (Zach Johnson) DeLong of Dunkirk, maternal grandmother; Diana (Curt) Valiant of Peru, IN, paternal grandparents; Clarence and Katherine DeLong of Dunkirk, uncles; Chris DeLong of TX, Jeffrey (Heather) Stevens of Peru, IN, aunt; Jenni Green of Dunkirk, cousin; Caity DeLong of Gibsonburg, and a brother-in-law; Bradley Flowers of Dola.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Loren Urick and a cousin; Cody DeLong.

Caleb was a 2013 Hardin Northern High School graduate. He then attended UNOH in Lima for HVAC. After completing school he joined his father as a co-owner of their family business: DeLong Plumbing, Heating and AC.

Caleb was an easy going guy who enjoyed the little things in life. He liked to fish, have BBQ’s, drink a few beers and take naps. 

Most of all Caleb enjoyed spending time with his daughter, his wife and dog; Lucy. Caleb truly loved being a father and husband and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for future expenses of Caleb’s daughter, Brailey.
