Services for Evelene (Manns) Ratliff will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Evelene went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Kenton Nursing and Rehab. She was born on December 29, 1941 in Wayland, Kentucky to the late Tom and Ethel (Howard) Manns. On September 27, 1961 she married Thomas “Junior” Ratliff and they later divorced.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Vonda (Todd) Jordan of Ada, Wanda Ratliff of Kenton, a son; James “Jamey” (Donna) Ratliff of Forest, 6 grandchildren; Jay and Joey Jordan, Sam Webb, Delaney and Skylar Begley, Alexis Ratliff, 6 great-grandchildren; Caleb and Chelsea Jordan, Dalton, Branson and Isabella Jordan, Lilith Webb, a sister; Berniece (Gene) Ratliff of Kenton, 2 brothers; Tommy (Tina) Manns of Troy, Alabama, Russell (Pat) Manns of Monroe, N.C., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Evelene joins family and friends in Heaven who went on before her, including her parents, a grandson; Patrick Webb, brothers; Alvin Manns, Albert Manns, Delmar Manns, Bernie Manns, sisters; Jean Woods, Mattie Leffler, and Pauline Manns.

Evelene graduated from Kenton High School and worked at the American Legion, Carey Market and Kenton Molded Plastic before retiring.

She was a member of the Auglaize Baptist Church and enjoyed listening too and singing, country and gospel music.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
