Obituary for Jerry D. Tillman

Jerry D. Tillman, 83 of Kenton passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Arlington on November 5, 1937 to the late James and Stella (Noggle) Tillman.  Jerry married Lois Freshcorn on November 28, 1956 and she survives along with four children; Jeraldine

(Ken) Richardson, Rick (Bonnie) Tillman, Robert Tillman and Teresa McKean all of Kenton, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Jerry worked for the railroad for many years. He enjoyed attending car shows, camping, traveling and spending winters in Florida.

He was a kind hearted person and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially family dinners. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 1:00 – 6:00 pm at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.

 A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. A private burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Jerry to Heartland Hospice to help keep up the good work. Those attending service are asked to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing. Online
