Funeral services for Julia M. Craig will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory with Pastor JMac Geisinger officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
Julia passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Marion General Hospital. She was born in Dayton, Ohio to Lillian (Colasante) Early and the late James Early.
Surviving is daughter, Laura (Shane) Stokes of North Lewisburg, sons; Andrew Craig of Ridgeway, Matt Craig of Hillard, stepmom, Linda (LaValley) Early of Grove City, sister, Deborah Fowlis of Columbus, brother, Christopher Early of Columbus, grandchildren, Alyssa and Lillian Craig, Anthony and Emma Haines, Zaiden Stokes, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. James Early.
Julia is what some would call a homebody. She loved to read anything that had to deal with the history of European Royalty. She loved watching Judge Judy and America’s Funniest Home Videos. When Julia wasn’t watching tv or reading she enjoyed cooking and crafting. She also liked decorating for Christmas. She was known to have a lot of the Christmas Villages.
Memorial donations in Julia’s honor may be made to the Ridgemont Public Library.
