A celebration of life for Lois E. Douglas will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 3, 1944 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late John Wright and Beaulah May Taylor. On December 13, 1962 she married Dennis Douglas and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2019.

Surviving are 3 daughters; Gloria Jean Douglas of Sidney, Kathy Jo (Rick) Godwin of Russell Point, Teri Lynn McIntire of Kenton, a son; Curtis (Rita) Douglas of Kenton, a step-brother; Douglas Taylor of Florida, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Lois was a homemaker who truly enjoyed taking care of her family. Her family was her life, especially her grandchildren. She wanted to spend as much time with them as possible.

In her younger years, Lois enjoyed camping and going to the local nursing homes and signing for the residents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospitals.
