There will be no services for Phyllis Wamack. It was her wishes to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at The Hardin Hill Health Center in Kenton. She was born on October 25, 1939 in East Liberty, Ohio to the late Robert and Mildred (Wroten) Dyer. On February 24, 1963 she married Richard Wamack and he preceded her in death on September 23, 2019.

Surviving are a son; Timothy Mark Wamack of Mt. Victory, 2 sisters; Peggy Rogers of Kenton, Carolyn Lawrence of Kenton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 7 brothers; Charles Dyer, Russel Dyer, Robert Dyer, Thomas Dyer, Elmo Dyer, Johnny Dyer, Hubert Dyer, and a sister; Dorothy Samples.

Phyllis was a 1957 Kenton High School graduate. She operated a private daycare out of her home for many years.

She was a member of the now closed, Mount Pleasant Church in Mt. Victory but had been attending the Beech Grove Wesleyan Church in Carey.

Phyllis also volunteered with her husband as a Cub Scout Leader for many years and took several Cub Scout Groups to Camp Berry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
