Funeral Services for Richard Ralph will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, June 18, 2021 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Gregg King officiating. Burial at Grove Cemetery will take place at a later date. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.
Richard Ralph, age 87 passed away Monday June 14th at Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton, Ohio. Richard was born May 12th 1934 in Pomeroy, Ohio to the late Stanley Guy Ralph and Katherine Ellen (Williams) Ralph. He married Joyce Ella Altvater June 18th 1952.
He is survived by his wife of almost 69 years, Joyce and granddaughter; Nicole Lee Bristoll and her husband Chad, of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Pamela Sue Alexander, both parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Richard worked many years at Swan Rubber in Bucyrus. Richard retired from Honda of Marysville in addition to owning the Eastcrest Dairy Freeze in Kenton with Joyce for many years.
Richard had many interests over the years, working on cars, riding motorcycles, bowling, dancing and gardening, but his family was most important, although ice cream was a close second. Anyone who knew Richard, knew he would give you the shirt off his back, he was a very caring and kind man who would do anything for anyone.
In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting a memorial to the Hardin Hills Activity Fund.
