There will be no services for Robert Michael “Mike” Kindle. It was his wish to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mike passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Woodside Village Care Center in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. He was born on November 27, 1948 in Kenton to the late Robert Franklin and Elizabeth (Clark) Kindle.
Surviving are his children; Jason (Nikki) Kindle of Dola, Dustin (Merriam) Kindle of Bowling Green, Kelli (Nick) Parr of Kenton, and 7 grandchildren; Weston Kindle, Blayne Kindle, Kayson Kindle, Ryker Kindle, Maddox Kindle, Micah Kindle, Kinsley Parr.
Mike was a 1966 graduate of Hardin Northern High School. He was a proud U.S. Marine Veteran, serving during Vietnam.
He worked for Rockwell until its closure, then he drove trucks and sold buildings for Morton Building and Golden Giant in Kenton. Mike was a member of the Kenton Moose and Eagles. He enjoyed drinking beer and socializing with his friends. He also loved to fish, and watch racing and football.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Heroes Project.
