Funeral services for Thomas Castle will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Dan Weihrauth officiating. Burial will follow at Preston Cemetery in Alger. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.
Thomas passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at his residence in Sidney. He was born on November 18, 1956, in Kenton to the late Randall Castle and Alice (Bailey) Ball.
Surviving are 2 sons, Randy (Beth) Castle of Sidney, Dustin Bailey of Sidney, 2 sisters, Doris Kast of Sidney, Lora Shadley of Kenton, 3 brothers, John Castle of Sidney, Donny Castle of Rhode Island, Wayne “Shorty” Blair of Florida, a granddaughter, Angel Castle and several nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Blair-Rice and 2 infant siblings, Mark Castle and Angel Blair.
Thomas enjoyed being outdoors. He always kept a garden every year where he would grow tomatoes. He loved to fish and go to garage sales/flea markets, always in search of a good deal. Thomas also had a love for collecting motorcycles, but he especially loved Harley’s.
Memorial donations in Thomas’ honor may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
