A car stalled out in high water covering a Wyandot County road Thursday morning.

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to County Highway 16 where they found the car submerged in water.

The two occupants were able to get out of the vehicle and swim to the side of the road. They reported that the water was about waist high.

Road closed barricades were put in place, and the car was left in place until the water receded. It was towed from the scene around four hours later.
