A bridge on State Route 37 over Bokes Creek between State Routes 347 and 4 in Union County will remain closed to traffic until repairs can be completed.
During inspection of the structure, staff from the Ohio Department of Transportation identified deteriorated components and the decision was made to close the bridge to traffic out of an abundance of caution.
While an exact timeline for the repairs is still being determined, it is estimated the road will remain closed for several weeks.
