The Thanksgiving holiday is one of the busiest travel times of the year.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is reminding motorists to stay alert, arrive early, buckle up, and drive sober this holiday weekend.
ODOT will be working to keep orange barrels at a minimum where possible, so drivers have an easier holiday commute.
Drivers are also reminded to put down the distractions and focus on the road.
There have already been more than 4,200 work zone related crashes this year.
You should keep a clear distance from the car in front of you and allow plenty of time to get to your Thanksgiving celebration.
