Kenton, Ohio – Due to increased vaccine supply within the state of Ohio, OhioHealth would like to announce they will be holding an additional COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Saturday, March 6 with over 250 vaccine appointments available.

The clinic will be held at the OhioHealth Physician Group Primary Care office in Kenton at 75 Washington Boulevard, Suite 103 in the medical office building (north of Hardin Memorial Hospital). This clinic is being held in addition to their weekday appointments.

People 65 and older, or with qualifying medical conditions, can schedule by calling the OhioHealth COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at (614) 533.6999 or through OhioHealth MyChart if they have been notified. OhioHealth will also be sending text messages to patients in our area to let them know about the available appointments as well. Please note – an appointment must be scheduled to receive the vaccine.

“Covid-19 vaccines have proven to be a safe, effective way to contain the infection rate, and reduce spread of this deadly disease,” stated Dr. Joseph Gastaldo, OhioHealth Medical Director of Infectious Diseases. “The vaccines offer a significant level of immunity to people who receive them. In addition, they have been 100% effective in preventing hospitalization or death, and significant effectiveness in preventing severe cases of Covid-19.”
