ONU COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Update:

ADA, Ohio – Ohio Northern University has been able to acquire two-dose Moderna vaccines for its upcoming state-sponsored COVID-19 mobile mass vaccination clinics.

Clinics scheduled at the Crawford County Fairgrounds in Bucyrus on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at Ohio Northern University on Friday from 2-6:30 p.m. will still be offered.

Clinics scheduled in Hardin, Logan, Union, Marion Crawford and Wyandot counties next week and through the end of May are, at this time, still expected to take place using Moderna doses. ONU’s HealthWise Mobile Clinic, which is hosting the clinics, also is working to acquire two-dose Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines.

Earlier on Tuesday, ONU temporarily paused its clinics in accordance with the State of Ohio’s action related to the CDC and FDA recommendations Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine administration; the University had only been administering the single-dose Johnson & Johnson brand for these regional mass vaccination clinics.
