ONU Holding Auditions for Holiday Spectacular and Beauty and the Beast

Ohio Northern University will hold children’s auditions this summer for its “Holiday Spectacular” extravaganza and for the role of Chip, an enchanted teacup, in “Beauty and the Beast.”

Young singers or dancers between the ages of 5 and 12 who would love the opportunity to perform on stage are invited.

Auditions will take place from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 15 in the Freed Center for The Performing Arts in Ada. 

Those auditioning for the “Holiday Spectacular” may be asked to sing and be ready to participate in a dance call. 

Children interested in auditioning for “Beauty and the Beast” should also be prepared to sing and read sides. 

A script will be provided.
