ONU Professor Gives Presentation on Vaping Dangers to HN Students

Hardin Northern students in grades 6 through 12 heard a presentation this week on the facts concerning the vaping epidemic.

Dr. Karen Kier, Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Director of Drug and Health Information at Ohio Northern University gave the students updated facts and research on the harms of vaping and addiction.

Each presentation lasted for about 45 minutes and included time at the end for student questions and discussion. 

Dr. Kier would like to continue working with Hardin Northern, as well as the other county schools in an effort to educate students, parents, and community members about the help and assistance that Ohio Northern’s HealthWise can provide.
