Ohio Northern student volunteers have been busy helping to spruce up parks around the county.

The volunteers took time to pick up sticks, mulch and paint storage buildings at Gormley Park in Forest.

Work was also done at Pioneer Park in Kenton where benches were painted, and trash and sticks were picked up.

Village and city officials expressed their gratitude for the students of ONU volunteering their time.
