OSHP Releases Preliminary Stats on Roadway Incidents Over Thanksgiving Weekend

Ohio’s State Highway Patrol has released preliminary statistics on statewide roadway incidents over Thanksgiving Weekend.

Their findings include nine fatalities, among them two pedestrians, four found not wearing a seat belt, and two involved with impaired driving.

298 OVI and 193 drug arrests were made by the Highway Patrol over the four-day weekend, along with 944 safety-belt and 146 distracted-driving violations.
