The Ohio State Highway Patrol is gearing up for the upcoming Christmas weekend by reminding motorists to refrain from drinking and driving.
According to information from OSP, the 2019 Christmas holiday period ran for two days from Tues., Dec. 24 through Wed., Dec 25.
There were eight fatal crashes that killed 12 people.
Of those, four crashes and four fatalities were OVI-related.
Troopers will continue the campaign urging motorists to DriveSober or Get Pulled Over this holiday.
