OSP Lima Post Handles Two Weekend Crashes in Allen County

One person suffered apparent minor injuries in a two vehicle crash that occurred over the weekend in Lima.

 

According to the report from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Patrol, 32 year old Rebecca Dodds, of Lima, attempted to travel from the left lane to the right while driving east on State Route 309.

 

Her vehicle struck the front of a car that was being operated by 43 year old Nathaniel Clowers, of Wapakoneta.

 

After striking Clowers’ car, Dodds’ vehicle overturned and slid to a stop.

 

Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.

 

Clowers had apparent injuries, but he was not transported to the hospital.

 

Dodds was cited for lane change violation.

Two vehicles were heavily damaged, but there were no injuries in another weekend crash in Allen County.

 

According to that report from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Patrol, 22 year old Mason Nourse, of Spencerville, attempted to cross State Route 309 from Defiance Trail.

 

His car was struck by a westbound vehicle being operated by 36 year old Kevin Fetters, of Lima.

 

Nourse was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
