Patrol’s Sergeant Bennett promoted to Lieutenant at the Findlay and Piqua Districts Commercial Enforcement Sections

Columbus – On September 25, Sergeant Kristina K. Bennett was promoted to the rank of lieutenant by Colonel Charles A. Jones, Patrol superintendent.

Lieutenant Bennett will remain in her current assignment at the Findlay and Piqua Districts Commercial Enforcement Section.

Lieutenant Bennett began her Patrol career in July 1995 as a cadet dispatcher assigned to the Wapakoneta Post.

She began training as a member of the 128th Academy Class in February 1997. She earned her commission in July of that year and was assigned to the Van Wert Post. As a trooper, she also served at the Wapakoneta Post. In 2004, she was promoted to the rank of sergeant and transferred to the Marysville Post to serve as an assistant post commander. As a sergeant, she also served at the Wapakoneta Post and the Piqua District Licensing and Commercial Standard Section.

Lieutenant Bennett earned an Associates of Technical Study in law enforcement from Wright State University in 2021.
