As part of the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s ongoing efforts to make Ohio roads safe, troopers continue to focus on impaired driving as we head into the New Year’s Holiday Weekend.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine encourages everyone to plan ahead, make responsible decisions, and drive sober when heading out this weekend.

Troopers will be out in force as they continue their effort to remove impaired drivers from the roads.

The public is encouraged to call #677 to report reckless or impaired drivers, and drug activity.

On behalf of all of us at WKTN, have a safe and Happy New Year.
