(Kenton, OH) The 2019 Annual National Project Linus Blanket Day will be held on February 16th at Table One in the banquet room.

The mission of Project Linus is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade, washable blankets and afghans, lovingly crafted by volunteer blanketeers. Tie blankets for children in need will be assembled at Table One, 1 N Detroit St, Kenton, OH 43326, and we would like to invite the community to attend.

Anyone who can learn to tie a knot is invited to join in the fun anytime between 12:30pm-4:00pm. The public is invited to bring their own supplies and equipment to sew or make other types of blankets if they would like, but fleece for tie blankets will be provided. The event will also serve as a donation drop-off site for completed blankets, as well as fabric and monetary donations. Several items and gift baskets will be raffled off with all proceeds benefitting the chapter.
