Public Invited to Marion Campus Job & Internship Fair

(Marion) Members of the public are invited to attend the Annual Marion Campus Job and Internship Fair from April 5 through April 8. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held virtually this year to allow local employers to meet with potential employees safely. The event is joint effort of Marion Technical College, The Ohio State University at Marion and Ohio Means Jobs – Marion County. The Marion Area Chamber of Commerce also is sponsoring this event.

More than a dozen local employers have posted jobs. Those looking for a new opportunity can post their resumes, search jobs, and sign up for an info session to hear from a local company firsthand.

“The website is easy to use,” said Kristi Butler, Director of Career Services for Marion Technical College. “If you Facetimed with a friend or Zoomed for a meeting, you can do this. If you have questions, we are here to help you. Jobs are waiting. We want to connect students, graduates and the public with local companies who are hiring. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!”

According to Ohio Means Jobs – Marion Administrator Ronald Meade, “There more than 13,000 jobs posted within 30 miles of Marion. The Marion Campus Job Fair is a great place to start. If you need help updating your resume or posting it online, local employment specialists are happy to help at no cost to you.”
