Pursuit in Wyandot County Culminates in the Arrest of Four Columbus Men

Four Columbus men were arrested after a pursuit over the weekend in Wyandot County.

According to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the area of US 23 to assist the Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Patrol with the pursuit of a vehicle.

A tire of the suspect’s vehicle hit stop sticks that were deployed, and the vehicle eventually stopped near the US 30 exit ramp.

Two subjects were detained at the scene.

They are identified as Steven Harper and Aaron Clark.

The two other suspects fled on foot and were arrested a short time later.

They are identified as Mario Mcrae Jr. and Diego Rangel.

Troopers recovered a significant amount of marijuana as well as a firearm.

The incident remains under investigation by the Ohio State Patrol.
