Rumors have been circulating on social media stating in part that the Hardin County Fair will not be issuing re-admittance hand stamps for the 2019 fair.

According to a release, these rumors are false.

As in years past, a guest of the fair must obtain a hand stamp before exiting the grounds to be readmitted to the fair.

That hand stamp is only valid for the day in which it was obtained.

Guests with questions are invited to contact the fair office at (419) 675-2396.

The 2019 Hardin County Fair kicked off today.

The official opening and the rides opened at noon.

In the grandstand tonight, the Crowning of the Junior Fair King and Queen followed by the High School Band Show starts at 7.

The exhibit buildings and rides close at 10.

The fair runs through Sunday at the fairgrounds in Kenton.
