The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the death of a recently retired deputy.
Michael McGuire passed away this past weekend.
In his 34 years of dedicated service, he was a School Resource Officer, Explorer Post Advisor, and Deputy Sheriff.
McGuire served the Sheriff’s Office family and the citizens of Hancock County.
The Sheriff’s Office statement stated that his life had a profound impact on everyone around him, and he will be greatly missed.
