As of January 4 of this year, the Hardin County Recorder’s Office has implemented a “Fraud” protection program as to Real Estate in Hardin County.

Hardin County Recorder Brenda Rainsburg stated that, “The public is able to sign-up for this “FREE” online program by going to the website and signing up for email notifications. If a document is filed in the Recorder’s Office with the name that you have listed on the “Fraud Sleuth” program, you will be sent a notification via email. You can search the Recorder’s property website at countyfusion1.kofiletech.us then go to Hardin County. There will be a helpful guideline to assist you with the process.”

If you have any questions, you may call the Hardin County Recorder’s Office at 419-674-2252 and they will be happy to help you.
