Report of Student Bringing Weapon to USV School Under Investigation

An investigation into a student bringing a weapon to Upper Scioto Valley school is underway.

 

According to information on the USV Facebook page, Superintendent Craig Hurley said that there is an on-going investigation underway at the school. 

 

He said the matter was brought to the attention of administration officials at the school this morning. The superintendent called it a serious safety concern. 

 

The student was immediately removed from the building and not permitted on school grounds.

 

The administration and the school resource officer are investigating the matter and all information will be shared with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and the Prosecutor’s Office.
