Ridgemont Board Approves Contract Renewal for Superintendent

The Ridgemont Schools Board of Education conducted its February meeting Thursday evening.

Several personnel matters were taken care of at the meeting.

That included the Board approving the renewal of a 3 year contract for Superintendent Sally Henrick.

Also at the meeting, several coaches were approved for the 2020-2021 spring season.

February 25, 2021 Regular Board Meeting Highlights:

The following list was announced and students were congratulated on their success.

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Basketball Team for being NWCC Co-Champions. This is a great accomplishment, great season ladies!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team for being NWCC Runners-Up!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls Basketball Team for being NWCC Runners-Up!

NWCC League Honors:

1st Team- Landon Newland, Brooke Nelson, Amanda Howland 2nd Team- Mason Stuck, Callie Cromer Honorable Mention- Jayden Streets, Austin Elsasser, Hannah Shoffner, Emma Smith.

Congratulations to our league honorees!

Personnel:

Coaches were approved for the 2020-2021 spring season, Todd Hollinger for Baseball Assistant Coach and Nikia Rudasill for Assistant Softball Coach. Volunteer coaches were also approved for the 2020-2021 spring season, Bill McKinley as Volunteer Baseball Assistant Coach and Chad Rudasill as Volunteer Softball Assistant Coach. Athletic Department helpers were approved for payment for hosting an OHSAA tournament.

The Board approved the renewal of a 3 year contract for Superintendent Sally Henrick.

Operations:

A motion was approved to advertise and receive bids for the purchase of 1 transit school bus through META Solutions. The Board approved the amounts and rates, as determined by the Budget Commission in its certification with the Hardin County Auditor.

The Board of Education Committee and Work Session schedule was approved for 2021.

College Credit Plus Agreements were approved with Bowling Green State University and Clark State Community College for the 2021-2022 school year. A motion was approved for the Third Grade Assessment testing format for the 2021-2022 school year.
