The Ridgemont Schools Board of Education meeting was held last night.

At the meeting, the Board recognized Fred Reinemeyer, who has retired as Treasurer for the district.

Reinemeyer has managed the finances of this district for 21 years and attended all board meetings.

Board President, Eric Hill, reminisced on the many locations and buildings that Reinemeyer has worked in throughout the district and thanked him for dedication and time to the district especially during the building project.

The Board wished him well in his retirement.

Robert Hoover was then approved as Interim Treasurer, effective March 1, 2019.

He will work as needed while the district moves forward in the search for a treasurer.

Also at the meeting, one year contracts were approved for two Assistant Cook positions, the board hired Jackie McCarthy, 5 hours a day and Shannon Bidwell, 3 hours a day for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year, and substitutes were approved for non-certified and teacher positions, as needed.
