The Association for Career and Technical Education announced its 2018 national award winners in seven different award categories.
Among those receiving an award was Ridgemont teacher Stephanie Jolliff, who was the recipient of the Carl Perkins Community Service Award.
This award recognizes individuals who have used Career and Technical Education to make a significant impact on their community and demonstrated leadership in programs and activities that promote student involvement in community service.
Jolliff has served as the Agriculture Instructor and FFA Advisor at Ridgemont since 2005.
She was one of five finalists for the 2018 national title.
The national winners for each award were announced at an awards banquet that took place this past Wednesday evening.
